Sack
Trick Live at the Garage, London
Review by Malcolm Dome,
Metal Hammer 8/10
Whisper it loudly, but Sack Trick are exactly the sort of crazy Brit eccentrics who will probably have a freak hit single. A motley collective culled from many other bands, they have the style, persona, focused madness and tuneful irreverence that get through the net and into the charts. Led by one time Bruce Dickinson Bassist Chris Dale, tonight Sack Trick are on a mission to entertain, even persuading Rachel Stamp’s David Ryder-Prangley to prance around first as Paul Stanley and then Minnie Mouse. Stardom awaits- God help us all.
Both Antiporduct and Cheesecake Truck share elements of Sack Trick's all round subsuming genius, yet each misses something crucial. So it's a night of Tricks, lick and picks. And the word is "GET SACKED"!
