Sack Trick Live at the Borderline, London
Review by James Holton, Rock Sound

"Halfway through Sack Trick's set, charismatic frontman/bass monster Chris Dale very politely asks everyone to hang on a minute because one of his rolled up dungaree legs has come loose 'and we wouldn't want to look silly would we?'. This from a man with flying goggles and a stuffed penguin attached to his head. With chunks of Zappa and the sheer audacity of Kiss, they storm from the stadium busting start of 'Penguins on the Moon' to the Noel Coward meets Napalm Death insanity of 'Shoelaces'. There are few bands who could pull off this combination of musical skill and real humour while remaining this charming. Sack Trick make you smile alright and they do it by being seriously good. "
